Artist's Description

Climbing the C Level Cirque Trail near Banff, some old mine remains can be explored. At one point a large pile of tailings extends out past the tree cover, forming an overlook where the view extends across the valley towards Lake Minnewanka and Mt. Inglismaldie. Shadows of clouds dot the forest below, while in the distance some thunderheads gather over the mountains.
