Tall grass and overgrown bushes crowd the abandoned buildings of an old farmstead. A dilapidated windmill stands motionless in the background, while a storm pushes clouds across the sky above. Many hopes and dreams no doubt played out here over the past decades. Now, perhaps my photograph of the derelicts may stir up new echoes of a time gone by.
