A quick and violent summer storm blew through town, bringing with it a sudden blast of thunder, lighting, wind gusts, heavy rain and large hail. The storm moved rapidly to the east while the sun was going down, and golden light poured in the windows of my office. I grabbed the nearest camera, ran outside and captured an amazing display of mammatus clouds over the neighborhood school.
