Artist's Description
The angular, snow-covered Ex Coelis Mountain and surrounding peaks gleam in late afternoon sun on a brisk winter day. Clouds gather overhead, but the light still shines off the cracked and intricately patterned surface of frozen Abraham Lake as if from polished chrome. Hints of the blue ice color are used to tint the monochrome image.
Note: this photograph is available as a framed or un-framed print from Fine Art America. A special edition is also available as a unique metal print. The metal print version is approximately 16 x 21.5 inches in size, and is a deep, luminous, high-gloss print on polished sheet aluminum. This form of metal print presents a stunning visual experience. Gleaming tones, vivid colors and incredible details make for an experience that is the next best thing to being there. Durable, light and ready to hang on gallery-grade aluminum framing, it is a distinctive artwork to display in your home or office. Contact me for further details.
