Thanks for the comments! Allen -- Yes, I remember that too. I'm sure we have our fair share of rose-colored glasses about those past days, but it does seem like it was a better time in a number of ways. Thomas -- Bill's stories were way more interesting than mine. This is a guy who's lived a life that few can imagine. :) This series I'm posting from is part of a project, and I went into it planning to do everything as B&W with a vintage feel. It's amazing the amount of subject matter I encountered that lent itself to this treatment. It was a big creative challenge and I'm really enjoying how it's turning out so far...
