Along the Crowsnest Highway in southwestern Alberta, stopping at the provincial tourism information center provides a rewarding view of one of the iconic peaks of the area. The formation of Crowsnest Mountain, with Seven Sisters Mountain tucked in behind, stands somewhat apart from the other nearby mountain chains. Good light and fall colors highlight the contours of the rolling hills below the rugged outcrop, a combination that works well in both color and black and white versions.
