Artist's Description
Crete has relatively few of the iconic blue-domed structures often pictured from elsewhere in Greece. But driving the twisty mountain roads one day on the return trip from a visit to the southern port town of Agia Galini, our party encountered this church on a low hill, overlooking a valley full of vineyards. I colorized the black and white image to retain the signature blue of the church dome.
